ANOTHER GAME OFF (2/2/01)
A frost bound pitch at Cappielow has seen Saturday's game postponed. Regardless of the weather, this game probably wouldn't have gone ahead anyway with Clydebank unable to field a team (see below). There's a threat of even more games being postponed with the SFA saying they'll cancel games if the foot and mouth outbreak gets worse.

BERWICK RANGERS VS ARBROATH (23/2/01)
With the weather in Berwick rapidly deteriorating, another postponement looks possible. The overnight forecast is -2 so there's every chance the pitch at Shielfield will freeze over completely. As of Friday teatime, there's no pitch inspection planned but that could all change tomorrow morning, so check Teletext or phone the club on (01289) 307424.

STRANRAER 1-1 BERWICK RANGERS (18/2/01)MARK DUTHIE
There was no separating the sides at Stair Park yesterday. Mark Duthie put us ahead with an astonishing 30 yard drive but the home side equalised after some sloppy defending allowed Alan Jenkins to head home unchallenged. Berwick had numerous chances to win the game, but poor finishing cost us dear. This result leaves us in fifth place, seven points behind Stranraer, but with a game in hand. Look out for highlights on Border tonight a 6:00pm.
